Are woolcubes required?
I am transfering my plant from mg soil , to DIY hydrobubble system.
My question is Do I really need to use woolcubes if my plant has a big stem already and is over 2 months into veg?
I seen a youtube video of a guy not using it. But from what I read in the forums people use them, Are they REQUIRED?Locedd Reviewed by Locedd on . Are woolcubes required? nope. rockwool is just one way to go. It is a media with its own set of particulars like any other media or you can go medialess as in bubble systems.

Another question involving rockwool, is it okay to leave your plant in it for the full duration of it's growth. Is there any point where you should remove it or is it safe to use all the way up until the end?

I have used rockwool before and if you are skeptic, you could use the cube you have the plant started in.. Just put it in the soil you are going to use and cover the top of the block with soil. You'll have ZERO transplant shock and stability for the stalk.

There are many growers that use rockwool from cloning right through the flowering. The only time you may have some problems is when you mix it with another media, such as clay pellets (Hydroton). In this case, rockwool holds water for a lot longer than hydroton.
