ever seen a topping result in 3 tops?

Well I come back from out of town, ( 9 days ), and the person I left in charge to water the plants didn't water my vegging plants. so they got all crispy and whatnot, but oddly enough, they lived, and after doing some trimming to remove all the dead leaves/branches, a few days later 3 tops appeared.

I have never seen it before, was wondering if anyone else has.

I have pictures, just can't upload them for some reason... so I'll link it. if anyone can help me figure out what to do, do tell. yes it is within filesize, and shape. says upload of file failed.
