Mixing soil
I'm on a real tight budget and I was just wondering if there was a way to get more out of my FOX FARM OCEAN FOREST by mixing it with another cheaper soil? Is that a bad idea? and if it's not, what other soil should I use?

Buy perlite, vermiculite, and just a basic potting soil i guess just check your nursery... or go to a place like sams club and get the soil they have INSIDE their building cause cheap dirt has bugs IMO

There are additives that you can use, and if you are mixing, be wary of soil mixes that contain a lot of wood fiber, as that robs nitrogen from the medium.
