From Flowering back to vegative growing

I have a few plants I was growing outside, but could not bring inside because of work I was having done. Some of them began to flower. Can I snap off the flowers and have them go back to vegative growth again? They are too small to be any good. Thanks.

If done carefully, they can be dug up, re-potted, and put back under an 18/6 regimen indoors.
