Just Another Crappy Day in Paradise Grow Log....Part Two.

It had to happen sooner or later. This be winter. A wet one.

Jack is done. It took six days of shit weather start the mold. Stress test over.
The Kush was the one that rotted the most. Jack handled pretty damn good.
It's done and hanging. Stupid would be to let it mold. Damn it....

Yesterday it pounded. Today it pounded. Back end of a small front made a home over us and kicked the shit out of here. And it looks like most of this upcomming week will be more of the same. A decent front is right behind this one. Fuckin' jet stream dipped again. I expect another week of rain....crap.

One the good side this may just make it worth it to chase the gulch we free planted. It needed rain...it got it. Big Time. LSY...you may get your wish.

Canni...see what happens when I gloat? Smile...get kicked in the teeth.
One day I will learn to keep my trap shut...not today though...or tomorrow.

Seeds are in... thank god for that. Another week of rain and I will have seeds germinating in the buds.

Oh well. Hope I am wrong. Another week of rain will kill me. That will be game over. Mold city. Batch 3 become iffy. I have been known to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat before....one more time please...long shot though.

But then again....clear the holes and we go right to part 3.

In a week I will know which direction to go. In 2006 we had 40 days of rain.
In a row. This is beginning to look like that.

Outdoors is easy? Only if I get to control the weather. Not in this lifetime.

Sorry to hear that bro. It sucks when shit like that happens. And you said outdoors is easy anyway... What about throwing some polythene or however that plastic sheets are called they use in greenhouses over the plants? Either cover them or just dip four poles in the soil around them and attach it on top like a tent kind of thingie? Hope my english made sense lol. I guess you get my point more or less anyway. Won't fight the humidity, but at least it should keep the rain away and the plants more or less dry? Or maybe I'm just talking crap dunno... :wtf: It's just a shame to let em rot at this stage, we should come up with some idea to save the girls!!! Good luck with this and keep us posted. Hope all goes well at the end. At least save Jackie!!!

    Mahalo brother,

Oh well.... You know what they say....Shit happens.

Jack is in the bag. I could have taken her a week ago, but I wanted to see how it does against our humidity. Six days of rain to rot. I know that she can take that. First time growing Jack, this is stuff I need to know. And is much easier to learn this stuff now on little plants, than later on big ones.

Most...not all of my seeds are in. That's the important part.

Shit...look at the bright side. If we went back a few years, before I was legal I'd have 500 in. Then we are talking about disaster. This is merely annoying.

I've had potted weed plants, that I hauled in before every rain...and they still molded. There's humid....then there's Upcounty humid....has to do with all that damn water around us. And where we sit on the lee of this volcano.

Gotta say it is kinda funny...in a piss you off kinda way.

Just when I start to get cocky....Slapped back down. Perfection is a dream for me...never a reality. Get used to it. There is still that perfect season out there. One day....

Mea culpa, Mea culpa, Mea maximus culpa.

    How quickly we forget.

Last season was near perfect, yah?
    So?
    You want two inna row?

And unless I miss my bet, we learn stuff from 'trial by wet .
    Fer instance.
How did the "Brand X" babes fare?

Gotta admit, I did not afford them the respect they deserved at first.
Though I reasoned that nobody's gonna plant a strain for 27 years if it's not superior.

It's one of the original polyploid strains from the late '60s that I find to be stronger than my $10 "designer seeds".

I give it an A+ for taste and potency!

Grows much mo' betta here than it does in Ca.

If it handles our kine wetness, we may have found da grail!

All quiet on da eastern front.

    Aloha nui

    OK...yes you have a point.

I had hoped it would not come to this....excuses and reasons time.

Brand X came to me after I had some good canadates to mess with. I already had the house grossly overloaded. For a while I thought I would just shove them in the cane. But your talking three patches. That's some work for a small payoff. Not to mention, a rip could end this line in one crack.

So I made a decision to keep these small, seed them and cross them. That's where we are now. Right now I am just starting to collect the seeds off them.
So far no rot, but they have yet to bulk up to where they rot easily.

I promise you... I have plans for Brand X. It also doesn't hurt to have a few hundred seeds either.

I'm jammed up right now with the season switch, and I havn't had a chance to really get to know Brand X. Also I am not even going to try to regrow these. I don't know enough....yet.

I quote myself in an earlier post....

My wild card is the Brand X. It has lavender hairs, and though early in the show. It looks good. I would have liked to get ahold of this earlier, I'm not proud of the little plants, but I kept them small and managed to cross the females with itself, and the males were crossed with everything else. So I can kick that can down the road and mess with it later.

Yea... That does sound like me describing Rodney. My big mistake. Very sorry.
But that was my deficency...not the plants.

Remember Brand X came to me last. Logical progression is it will be in the last part of this log. Besides I am an attention whore, big plants give a small wow factor. Small seeded plants...ya get nothing.

I do owe you an apology. I should have put a couple in big pots, just to give this a taste. But I have eyes...and a nose....and that's why I call it my wild card. No insult was intended. It was just the way the dance card got filled out.

And it seems weez's has white hairs....mine are all lavender.

So let me beg for a little bit longer. I promise to road test this puppy hard, as soon as I can. And it would be a good bet that this goes into the top drawer.

    Later

    OH

I must admit to a very dry sense of humor?..now Weeze knows me well enough that I can say just about anything to him just for a laugh. I thought that the Rodney Dangerfield of weed to be amusing?..absolutely no animosity intended.
I come from a small town where ??not talking to you? means I??m pissed?..But ??hey asshole? means I still love you.
If I??d had anything rude to say to you I??d have e-mailed you?.I wouldn??t have done it in a public forum.

As far as the seed?..my family taught me that a gift is a gift?.100% yours to manage?.nunmy bidness. Weeze has enjoyed them?.my hope is that you will as well.

Weeze sends me a picture and says lavender pistils?.but I see them as white as well. I??m pretty sure that he??s got some problems that he??s not admitting to though.

    [attachment=o265831]

I??m enjoying watching the two of you grow ??Rodney??s? in Hawaii. The temperature here last night was below freezing with the humidity about 15%. You complain about rain, humidity, and powdery mildew?..I complain about all the hand lotion that I have to use to minimize the cracking in my hands.

I too showed Rodney little respect?.But I??m putting a lot of energy this winter to improving the location for better light?.I won??t end up with an ??equatorial? grow?but I??m not willing to take the risk of a very well lit guerilla grow.

No worries here?..and I am still looking forward to a round of golf someday??ya?? asshole.

    Un otro coulo.

"And it seems weez's has white hairs....mine are all lavender."

    Bet high school was rough.

Actually, the "old seed" gal had a pale lavender tint at the 3rd week. Which then faded out.
Same with the next gen seeds.

A pale, dusky, tint, is all I've seen so far.
Could be lack of UV. Been filtering it out.
    [attachment=o265832]
    Filters out the rain too.

Just popped 2 more next gen. X gen. for Valentines day.
And I have moved "Nani Fiddie" into the sun for her terminal tan.
    At day 34;

Got more snaps, but no wanna clutter your thread.
Plan to start a grow log for the next brand-X grow soon as dey pop.

A video diary of forbidden love.
    Steamy, dank, crazy-monkey-kine, love.

An' no worry, we understood da situation O.H., we was jus' pokin' atcha a little.

Think of it as mo' attention.
He'ps wit' da happy ending, yah?

    Aloha Brother
