Weez...gotta stop staring at those seeds looking for naughty parts...Plant them all and let (insert appropriate diety here) sort 'em all out.

The weather last week was cold. We never even got above 70 most of last week. This week a strong high sits over Alaska. This high pushes the jet stream down over the islands, and with the jet stream comes the rain. Later today the first of these storms move through. Later this week another stronger one take it's place.

Normal winter weather. After a couple years of drought, it feels good to return to normal. We had hail last Wensday.

Hail...This ain't right...This is Hawaii? .....WTF???

All my crosses have been made. Using both the Jack male and the T/S saved pollen. That's done. Also harvested topknot. With all the crap weather we have had it should have turned into a moldball. It didn't.

Once I have a couple of thousand seeds in the bag I can move along to the next job. The crosses are made, the rest is going to happen by itself. Nothing to do but wait and watch for fags.

Now it's time to prepare for the long season. Shovel jumping. Manual Labor.

Last year I had 4 groups of 7. Some areas did great. Like the gulch. I'm enlarging that. I'm going to stuff as many as I can fit in there. On the other hand the top did poorly. I'm going to shut that down. And in the bottom area, I am preparing it now.

As I harvest out the gulch, no more replanting empty holes. This has been a nice diversion, but long season is the prize.

oldhaole Reviewed by oldhaole on . Just Another Crappy Day in Paradise Grow Log....Part Two. As a sucessful long season winds down, I notice a problem. I have 28 legal holes and there almost EMPTY! Shit. Well not for long. :D We can fix this....but I need a goal. Long season was good to me, but I can do better. I could slam a bunch of seeds in the dirt and choke myself out on 90 day wonders. It would be easy to do, but yield would be...minor. :( I have a light room. It is seldom used. Here's the plan. This grow will start hybred, 12 hours sunlight, 12 hrs CFL's. That way I can Rating: 5
