This is how I dry my buds in a very humid environment. In a perfect world I will take what I can trim right off the plant for the day. Leave smaller buds behind to mature.
Once cut and trimmed. I put them on hangers and into the attic they go. I run a small fan constantly to move the air around. Takes about a week to lose enough moisture to almost smoke.
After a week upstairs I bring them down , take them off the stem and put them on screen mesh for another week. If we get a lot of rain, I will put the cages over the TV.
The dangerous part is from harvest to day 4. Hanging buds can mold, so keep your eye on them. Full darkness is not advised, and fans are a must.

Lastly if you get a scorcher day, use it. cover your racks with newspaper and leave them in the sun. Let ,em bake.

Good Luck
