    My plant is flowering

hii, i have a plant that is in soil, i use bio grow as fert and it is 1 month and 20 days old from seed, it is under a 600w light bulb and it started flowering but i dont want it to flower because i want it to get bigger, it started flowering but it is under 18 hours on light per day, and i even interrupt the 6 hours of night time by putting an hour on light for example , 17 hours of light 3 hours of dark 1 hour of light and 3 hours of dark and all over again so i dont understand why it is flowering, should i change to 12 12 or just leave it and see what happens?

my reason to not let it flower is that i want it to get bigger and therefore support more buds and give a bigger yield

    any advise?

ok the 17-3-1-3 thing is dumb, throw that away, i'd suggest staying with 18-6 but you fucked that up so idk... who in the world interrupts a dark cycle... you'll probably get a hermie but w/e... just 12/12 it thats the only thing you can do and if its an autoflower then you cant veg them forever... just bud that b*ch and smoke it... and STUDY how to grow... then try again

someone told me if you interrupt the dark cycle with 1 hour you get more females i thought its bullshit but worth the try, i got 7 out of 9 females,it might not be because of the 1 hour but iam happy, tell me more about autoflower? and wtf is a hermie?

Autoflowering cannabis strains are plants that do not need to be forced into flowering by cutting back the light cycle to 12 on 12 off. they do it on their own. a "hermie" is a hermaphrodite plant. usually caused by stress on a plant but in some cases can be a genetic trait as well. hermies develop female flowers as well as male pollen sacks. they pollenate themselves and ruin crops by filling them with seeds.

ive never heard of interrupting the dark cycle as a benefit to the plants either.
it would be the dumbest thing you could do in IMO:thumbsup:
    good luck with your plants
