I dont know about growing next to insulation like that, some may drift down and hit your plant, but again not my area of expertice
On the subject of the tent, a good tent will hold in heat, so it should help to keep the plant(s) warm, but remember, if you run a heater or something similar in your house, that heat rises, and now your attic will hold heat because it's insulated :jointsmile:
