hi just after a bit of advice about my extractor.. is it o.k for me to run my extractor for the whole 12 hours of my light period? as the temps get a bit high usually run at 29-31 with extractor off an 25-28 with it on ,. but will this dry the air out by running for whole 12 hours as i dont have a intake fan at the moment i rely mostly on the vents in sides of my 120x120x200 grow tent an ocasionally opening door for 15mins or so/ an room window . any advice would be greatly appreciated as they are 20 days into flower thanx..

Hello kich87,

It is perfectly fine to run your extractor (exhaust fan in the colonies) continually when your lights are on. This will not dry out the air too much, in fact during flowering the plants should be under 40% relative humidity. Not sure you can even make it too dry for them.

Your temps with the fan on of 25-28C (77-82F) should be OK. With out the fan temps of 29-31C (84-88F) are too high unless you use CO2 supplemention.

BTW; White Rhino is a great strain, very nice indica dom that is one of the strains I've been running for the past few years. One of my favorites.

okay so now my temps are still high evan with extractor on , i cannot close the tent door at all as temps go in 90s an there still at 82 with door open ajar. does any1 think it would be o.k just to turn my extractor around so its sucking air in instead of extracting it out ??? or would this just raise humidity levels as the hot air wouldnt really be escaping quick enough, i plan to get another inline fan to draw fresh air in aswell as out soon but at the min i just got 1 so what would be best?? AIR IN OR OUT lol . thanx..
