Fourth post down in the thread.

the pic is of a single flower calyx that has 5 Pistils coming out of it..... I was arguing with Rusty about this being a potential sign of a herme plant since the same plant was generating "Nanners" (the other pic I posted in the thread above! )
And to clarify,... the OP's link is to MY pic of a flower that I took. and not one of his own.

Here's some more in that vein.

I never stated that it was my pic i just found a pic on a thread that looked very similar to what is on my plants . There was never a conclusion with multiple people agreeing on what it was. So i decided to save myself some work and use your pic:thumbsup:

yes!...pollenated pistils turn brown, quick, like over night.
(I painted lower pistils with pollen and left the middle and top buds sensi)..white hairs on top...brown on the bottom...same as me..:stoned:

Pistils also die from old age, wind burn, mishandling...and multiple pistils are common.

TsarBomba: Perhaps a little more learnin' before offering advise is a good idea. Sensimilla (sensi) is a term refering to flowers produced from a female plant (in this case, cannabis) that has not been fertilized and doesn't contain seeds.

Seeded calyx's have a yellowish 'racing stripe' from base to tip, and they don't grow-out fresh pistils once seeded. Just like people's noses, earlobes and ego's grow with age...so do the calyx's.

I dont see why people would look at that picture and conclude that its a hermie...

Its clearly a calyx with multiple pistils. Ive never seen a hermie plant that had pistils growing from its nanners. In fact you can probably find calyxs with multiple pistils like that on any plant if you look hard enough.
