How many weeks has it been flowering?
The only true way to tell is to get a magnification tool to check the actual color of the trichs.
Milky or milky/amber and they are ready. Clear is not ready.

Post the pics to an "Album" under your Username. Then use the "BB" code (under the pick when viewing it in the album) to attach it to the thread.
The "Sugar coating" is the trichomes that GTOD was talking about. THOSE are microscopic glands that contain the most THC.
The color change GTOD was referring to was this.
