As usual, the devil is in the details, and the Baptist Press got the details wrong. Their critical error is in stating that "Local governments would be allowed to regulate and tax it..."

No. Local governments would be allowed to regulate and tax the commercial production and sale of marijuana. Private citizens would be allowed to possess, cultivate and use tax-free marijuana everywhere in the State, irrespective of local government regulation and taxation of commercial cannabis operations.

Big difference. HUGE. :thumbsup:
