I would add the MH bulbs run hotter then HPS bulbs. Since the lumen output is lower with MH, what is not turned into light is turned into heat.

Im pretty new to everything to do with growing but am slowly learning. From what ive heard MH bulbs are high in the Blue Spectrum , but the color rating for the Bulb is 4000K , with 38000 Lumen output. Would love to use for Veg or Flower .
