The problem is the law has no teeth in it to go after police that violate the no seizure section. Patients who have their medicine seized should be granted a 5 figure award per instance upon demonstrating they were in compliance but had property seized anyway.


We've got the law just nothing to enforce it.

And this will not end, no matter even if the intiative gets passed you'll still see officers arresting patients because they'll say they're following the federal laws.
