LSD RDWC SCROG GROW

Thanx to all.

Yesterday I noticed what seems to be a slight nute burn and possibly lockout happening.
So I drained out about two gallons and replaced it with ph'ed water. This brought the ppm down by about 400.
Going to be keeping a close watch the next few days. :icon506:

Buds are still continuing to bulk up, and slightly getting taller too. :jointsmile:

oh my... that looks so beautiful! Another week and I flip the switch I think... I am so looking forward to something like what you have here and I really am enjoying the lessons.

If I missed you telling us this, throw something at me... but I am encountering a question now as I am starting the training on my screen. The lower limbs are just now all reaching screen height and will be turned to go horizontal as soon as they are long enough to get to the next hole. Did you tie these vertical climbers to a wire at the point you wanted them to bend or did you just let them naturally reach out and then bend them over when it was logical to do so? I have about 16 of them about ready to get to this decision point.

I just let them grow up naturally and then trained out once they got to the screen.
In my opinion this leaves too much under growth to deal with, and in my case lots of small popcorn buds under the screen.
I was trying to trim the under growth, but there was so much I finally had to just let it go.
I was too afraid of making her hermie from taking them all off at once. By doing it slowly I just ran out of time. (Last real trimming was at about three weeks flower.)

In my newest log (http://boards.cannabis.com/hydroponi...2nd-scrog.html) I am trying out a different technique for the early veg training.
I am hoping that this will keep all the bud growth above the screen.

One other thing that I did with this SCROG was to stop training about a week into flower. My theory on this was to let her grow further above the screen.
It didn't make sense to me to have all the buds just a few inches above the screen.

Apparently when I compensated for the slight nute burn I went too far.
Created a nitrogen deficiency that came on fast. She has lost quite a lot of fan leaves due to this.

Did a res change and have starting using Overdrive.

On the bright side I have killer light penetration now.

I'm not sure if it's the strain or from the problems I've had with this girl, but I had hoped the buds would have filled in more than they have.
