Well as the tittle says, major surgery was performed on my girls today.
All the roots were completely engulfed with this jelly slime! Blocking out uptake, just like LOC NAR said.

They were removed from their net pots, cleaned, soaked, and re-potted. All using Physan 20.

Sanitizing: 15ml/gal Physan 20 PH'd to 5.8
All tools, air stones, reservoir, bottles used to cool res, new hydroton, and new net pots were soaked in this solution for about an hour.

Root Soak: 8ml/gal Physan 20 PH'd to 5.8
Once removed from the pots, I washed off all of the jelly slime that I could find. Then they got soaked in this solution for about thirty minutes.
Got washed again, and another soak for about thirty minutes. After this they were re-potted.

Also trimmed off all dead leaves. I will be running a mild nutrient solution for now, due to the fact they are so weak at the moment. Moved my light up about 12" too.

The new plan is do res changes every two days. While I'm doing the res change, they will soak in a Physan 20 solution.
Really hope this works, because it looks like this could be my last chance with these girls.

Of coarse any and all suggestions on this are greatly welcomed.
