Trying to quit, really am having a hard time
HighPopalorum that is a good point, it should not last more than a few weeks. My thought is that if one has any issues they become redirected by smoking weed, drinking, etc. Classic examples are "the angry drunk" and "the depressed stoner"
If it's about the depression and insomnia that is experienced when a long time smoker stops, that is because you are "burned out", literally your body cant manufacture serotonin as fast as it used to (it has not had, as when you are bowled-out, there is no need for serotonin. It takes a bit for serotonin levels to replenish) It will come back, claims that pot causes permanent damage are bull****.
You can do a supplement with 5-htp to speed up your serotonin production, I know that works. My boyfriend took a job on a oil rig last summer and he had to stop smoking to land and keep that job, he took a designer sup with 5-htp and some other stuff, cannitrol - http://www.cannitrol.com and he was cool. In any case insomnia/depression/lack of motivation should not last for more than 2 months or something else is probably the problem.
