Trying to quit, really am having a hard time
Ok guys I need your advice.
I have been a toker for as long as I can remember. I love it, I am a believer in the herb...
I am applying for some jobs, and need to "pass a drug test". I have not smoked in 3 days, and that is not the longest I have gone... BUT, I am struggling, I have a sack of dank, and would kill to smoke it.
I am sweating, I cannot sleep, I have been exercising, I flushed my system with apple cider vinager/juice/eating right. The past 2 or 3 weeks I have not smoke much, but enough... skunk...
I just feel as most of us do, that there is absolutly no reason to not smoke the herb, for it helps. So after day 3, I feel doomed like I did back in elementry school, same feeling... I was a failure in school long before herb. School was not my thing.
This is rediculous. I need herb, it is my medication, as all of us...
I know my anxiety will just get worse, and the devil will be walking out of my mouth as I speak. Dreams will get worse, back pain has already arrived (need to get my ming off of it).
I have no interest in playing my guitar, fishing, dirt biking, chillin with friends. I have no motivation. I know that it has only been 3 days, but I hate this feeling, which is my reason for smoking herb. I need a job, but I'm not the only one. I feel lost, and confused.
If anything I need some motivation to just say what the heck and smoke. But some good reasoning. I need a job that will not test, or better yet just not care. arrrg im in such a jam. FML
why o why did i apply for the job? and why the hell do I feel like this...
arrrgggg the anxiety, pain, and I need to live in my Godly fulfilled life that herb helps me achieve.COskiRide Reviewed by COskiRide on . you need a job that will not test or will not care.
believe it or not, there are lots.
there are some that test and don't care about pot.
otherwise, keep exercising and sweat it out. You could have ADD or somesuch which was being treated well by the herb and now you aren't being treated for that..Colorado patient grower. :rambohead:

Man, I don't mean to be a dick, but get a grip!! Herb is not even addictive so all this shit is in your head...
Try taking opiates for 5+ years and then quit that... you'll have some serious symptoms for weeks/months.
Granted it can be hard to quit smoking herb because it seems so harmless. You can easily rationalize getting high because it doesn't hurt anything. I just quit for 2-3 weeks and the best thing to do is to just keep yourself busy. It's easy to crave herb when you're sitting around doing nothing. Force yourself to get out and remain active.
Otherwise, just go buy some Quick Fix fake piss that most headshops carry (call around). This stuff is fool-proof and I've pissed 3-4 drug tests with it. Even knew fellas who would carry it around every day since they were subject to randoms. Don't spend money on an unnecessary whizzanator. Nobody checks your junk for pre-employment drug screens... you'll be in a bathroom by yourself. There's tons of great information on Quick Fix on this website in the drug testing section. It's only like $20-25 too... so if you can't quit go for the Quick Fix.

quitting herb after many years can certainly lead to insomnia, which can be a pain in the ass and effects your life.
ask your doc for sleep meds unless of course you are going for a DOT job, which would be a dumbass thing to do if you plan to start up again.Colorado patient grower. :rambohead:

Psychological addiction can absolutely occur. I feel for you. I've done more tests than I can count, but I've had a few jobs aware that I tested positive for THC and didn't care. Some employers are just weeding out harder drug users. I'd talk honestly with your physician about it, your body is going through a lot of changes with the increased exercise and under stimulated endocannabinoid system.
Good luck either way.

poor guy some people really need it and others just really want it, along with xbox, ps3 and the like. my point being if all you do is chill and do nothing while smoking you create a pattern of self indulgence...tough to quit.
