My first grow went like a badly oiled machine.....first off I nute-burned my little plant, then, when I had bothered to read up on what to do I managed to get to the flowering stage. However the triumph was short lived. My feminized white widow was a he. Bugger!
OK, so I learned a lot and have started a couple more seeds which have germinated fine. I don't really want any more males and as far as I have read on this and other forums the only sure way to tell is to root a clone, and then stick it under 12/12 for a bit to see what flowers it grows.
My mate says that there is a way to tell the sex of a plant after only 2 leaves have appeared.... "you look for this little bit under the leaves, if it's there then it's a female", he says. He can't tell me any more than that!
Is this true, or is this rubbish?
Please be as rude as you like when replying......I personally think it's codswallop

Thanks
