I had a flare up of panic attacks about 10 years ago after smoking pot. But there were a lot of other things going on in my life so I'm not sure if I can attribute it all to the marijuana. I'm 40 now and things have really smoothed out since then so I wouldn't worry that you've permanently hurt yourself.

Your symptoms all sound like they could fall under the umbrella of anxiety of panic disorder. Basically people with panic disorder can become hyper sensitive to feelings and sensations in the body. The slightest little sensation can trigger a flurry of scary thoughts that border on hyperchondriasis. You then react to the scary thoughts as if they are revealing some kind of truth about your health when really it's all just BS! Your nervous system gets dialed up really high from the scary thinking and makes you even more sensitive to your body's sensations. The marijuana may have been a trigger but it has long since left your system so anything going on now is just mental worry about your health. Try to ignore the fears and move forward with your life. Go about things like nothing is wrong. Get up, go to work/school. Eat. Sleep. Date. Whatever. Just keep doing things like normal.

Btw, I joined this site because I am fascinated with the CBD high strains. I haven't smoked in 10 years and would like to smoke again but I want to avoid the paranoia and panic! I hope more research is done. I do remember how pot would sometimes relax me and other times freak me out. It must have been different strains!
