Diatomaceous Earth Question
I just applied some to my two plants and mixed it into the top soil because I am battling some fungus gnat larvae. Should I just leave it be or give it a good watering so the stuff gets down into the lower parts of the soil? Thanks.

Diatomaceous Earth Question
I donā??t even mix it inā?¦.if the larva need to pass through the surface then I figure that, thatā??s where I want it.
I also use Gnatrolā?¦..Iā??m not (scientifically) sure which one does the jobā?¦but the two in combination does prove effective.
Watering it is inevitableā?¦.so no worries there.

Diatomaceous Earth Question
Ya I only mixed it into the top quarter inch maybe where I see them hanging around. I think I will hold off on the gnatrol for now. The DE is supposed to work wonders on the larvae. I am also using a terro fly trap to get the flying gnats but that isn't working too well. Might just go with vinegar or some yellow fly traps. Thanks for the reply.
