First indoor grow, steath cabinet style.
I have never tried my hand at indoor growing before and am starting off small and covert.
I have converted an old 4 drawer dresser into a stealth cabinet and lined it with mylar. I am using 6 23w 2700k CFL's so that I can keep them close to the plants and control the heat easily in my little space. I also made a hood for them out of cardboard wrapped in mylar.
For ventilation, I'm using a 4.5 inch fan and wired it to a dimmer so that I can control the speed for heat regulation and so that I can increase or decrease the speed as needed when I add my home made carbon scrubber.
Currently I have two bagseed seedlings that I am sprouting to clone so that I may determine the sex and pick out the mother that I'll be using until I get this indoor growing thing under my belt a little more.
I also plan on running a DWC system (homemade as well) with Fox Farms hydro nutrient trio instead of soil. I am still debating on weather or not I'll be springing for the three solubles that they recommend on this go 'round.
I have spent countless hours researching it and I figure I might as well jump in feet first and go straight for the legendary hydro!reefersutherlin Reviewed by reefersutherlin on . Does anyone have any experience with the Fox Farms hydro nutes? What do you recommend that I do? Will I be able to sustain plants and have them come out of this with any kind of satisfactory yield with just the Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom?

The 2700k bulbs are good for flowering but you needs some 6500k for vegging.

Thanks fella!
I swapped out the bulbs to 5000k's.
One of my seedlings was reeeaaaaly reaching for those 2700's. Will it calm down and veg out more now? Should I still be on 24 hour light?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge. What an awesome community!
