a4?
Quick A4 update...
Ive discovered the genetics part way. Originally thought to be Ind dominant, A4 may be more balanced. Its actually a hybrid of Grapefruit Haze and an unknown landrace Indica. I know that isnt a massive revelation, but trust me...its a great step inthe proper direction!! Plus, we are now breeding out grapefruit haze with some tremendous landrace Indicas, from one or more of the following regions; Oaxaca, Nepal, Afghanistan, Pakistan, North Africa, and a number of Central & South American sources.
We should have a respectable A4 duplicate finished this year...going to run comparitive DNA to ensure similarity, enough to justify giving it the name of "A4.2" Anything less will be donated away as part of the learning curve. I have numerous samples of A4 that will be permanentely preserved, since the strain was compromised in 2011...those will be used for DNA sequencing only.djbravo Reviewed by djbravo on . a4? anyone know anything about the strain a4?
