security?
So I was wondering....would a video surveilance system be enough security to pass for a ppl? am wondering in which direction I need to go for a ppl. I realy didn't want to go with an alarm system, since you have to get a permit for them through the police department in my county...I know just me being paranoid. but i'd rather not if I can avoid one. Although I live in a pretty secure area I know you need some kind of security. So any info would be helpful. :jointsmile:thanks. sorry if there is a thread like this already. but i got the slowest web on the net. so I cant just sit here for hours lookin

But I did'nt wait to be "legal" before I started to make my own medicine. Indoor grow...Outdoor grow...Each was accompanied by the parinoia surrounding getting caught.
I'e only been growing legal for two years, and I still have a flash of parinoia every once in a while. A little parinoia is OK Just don't get crazy.
I think reasonable security measures; ie out of sight of public, locked doors, fenced property w/ gate, (higher the better) Odor control (if indoors), alarm system is a plus. any combination of these ( the more the better) should get you approved for a ppl. Good luck...BB

Have no concept of what the're missing. It's not just about the quality of the medicine (which is quite often downright stunning) but the experience of producing your own medicine. Sitting in my garden watching the hummingbirds trying to get nectar from the flowers. They don't seem to get much but they keep on trying. The wonderfull aromas and the heavy colas waving in the breeze. It's almost a zen experience.
I'm an outdoor grower and it somehow saddens me that in another month it will all be over.
But like many farmers I'll curl up this winter with a seed catalog and dream of crops to come...BB

Growing one crop a year does mean you have to put all your eggs in one basket. I've considered trying indoor, but sunshine is free and in New Mexico it's strong and long. These days I have a somewhat limited income. After the seeds (the most expensive part) My costs are negligible.
I'll try to put up a grow log. I'm up in years and not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers.
I guess I'll have to wait until I have 50 posts before I can post any pictures...Should coincide well with harvest....BB
