Like an earlier post said if you were given clones and a mother plant then your clones are female.

Throw your mother plant in a diff room, or outside, you don't want to flower this, ust keep her veging and making little baby MJ's

continue the 12/12 cycle with the clones for another 6 weeks, while that stuff is drying get your friend back over to cut you some new clones, watch and learn, you can read a thousand grow guides and not be sure but it only takes 5 minutes of seeing it done once to learn.

you make me feel alot better about my dielemer, Question* how do i get rid of the smell i have had the room window open most of the time last week.. and yes i have been told that is bad so i have kept it closed since... my other mate brought me a big roll of coal filter suff and told me to make a robbie the rowbot out of it lol he told me how to make one but im sure there is an easier way. if you have any ideas (of crouse ya would) please reply

go to the grow info links on the left side and click on training videos, watch them and then ask questions if you are still confused. But the time you spend researching will pay big dividends.

As for the light, put your hand at the plant's top level, it it feels hot the light is too close. Move the light so that your hand at plant level is a little warm but still comfortable. Probably be about 1-2ft away depending on ambient temps in your area. Get a thermometer and check the temp at canopy level, it should be about 70-80 deg F.

YOU'S have been so very helpful ..i will post pics of how the r now and hope my new info will make the huge diffrence ...on how they turn out.. if there is anythink esl you would like to say i will always be checking this tread ty

sure what im doing wrong, lights,heat
water,food,love..... I'm a starter.

i have got some clones from a friend who had them just had sitting outside. I have put them in my bath room shower. i made a lid for it and put a fan on the top to suck out the heat, I have got a 400wt light and it has a fanout shade if you know what i mean??? i have had them on 12hurs on 12 off for the past two weeks and have only grown about 2 inchs and they smell really smelly they look funny too i was told the diffrence between male and female but im still not sure?? they look like bud with heaps of hairy suff on top sticking up, they have only 2 leaves sry im my question is am i just wasting my power trying to grow or do you have a web page for me to view? im not a good reader and thats why im asking

If Clone is still baby , there , then best using fluro -light and keep warm with good humidity unless clone plant grew up by over 1 ft before ready to use 400w light metal halide or generic "phillip" hps light under 12/12 or 18/6 either till it become good yield-growing before flowering start to process
Example:
veg-stage with food nutirents by
2.5ml fish mix or thrive B or greensea
5ml grow nutirent
2.5ml bloom nutirent to mix up in big pail and let mixed fuild resting for over 30 mins or 60 mins or oxygen air pump (waterproof) feed o2 to mix food nutirents for ready feeding
if your plants get ready for flowering then no light for 1 day then use real hps light with 12/12.
Example with food nutirents
2.5ml fish mix or greensea
2.5ml grow nutrient
5ml bloom nutrient
2.5 to 3 ml flowering or bud nutirent to feed them with flowering grew up , Lucky !
