    Purple Trichomes! Pics Inside

    Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you a heads-up that we got an amazing find about a week ago after making a trip up to Breck/Vail. We picked up some Juicy Fruit from Medicine Man, LLC in Breck and were floored to discover that it was loaded with trichomes that had purple, lavender, and mixed "pretty purpley-orange" head coloration. We dug all over the internet and found no pictures anything like these, so I think it's a new find...

To our knowledge, it it completely natural -- the coloring elsewhere in the bud doesn't indicate any sort of foul play (i.e. food coloring), as it appears totally natural. Juicy Fruit in particular is known for patches of purple and pink, and I think this was just a case of a freak genetic/plant/harvest producing some amazing colors. We'll keep an eye on the future harvests of this strain to see if it's something innate to the genetics or simply a once-in-a-lifetime sort of occurrence.

Anyway, the review is up on KindReviews, but some pictures of our finds are below. All pictures were either taken with our camera or with our Veho Discovery 200X scope (on default settings in the software, which admittedly are a little 'hot' color-wise) and are totally unaltered -- no color added, no aftertouching of any kind...

What do you guys/gals think? This was hands-down the prettiest piece of cannabis I've seen in my life, and I really hope it's something that happens again in the next harvest... It's seriously mesmerizing to sit and scope this strain, I have a giant shit-eating grin on my face the whole time I'm in there looking around. :rastasmoke:

I've heard that the Purple Rhino IBL in Centennial's Roughneck (PR IBL x Pure Jamaica Lambsbread) does this as well.

in the 80's purple/red hairs was the thing, it was everywhere, potent, and tasty. however the best was the giant trich the size of a rice krispy, although purple trichs is very cool.
