    Clipping and drying process questions

Okay, so this is my first harvest, I am in the dark here. I am under the impression that I need to hang the buds in a well ventilated area. Once the initial dry is complete then I need to "cure" them I believe in a jar. But I do not know how to clip, where to clip, how to hang the buds, for how long, ect. Any info is appreciated.

    Thanks,

trim leaves down tight to bud, not to tight . you dont want to damage trichromes or the bud itself.Hang from ceiling,or put up a string across 2 walls or somthing.Hang em by the bottom of the stem where you cut em. Use the last bud at bottom to hook stalk on string . Hang dry at room temps. in dark Till dry then remove bud from stem and start curing in jar.Depends on the thickness of the bud. You might need to hang 1-2 weeks till dry enough to jar up.In seven days you should be able to sample some. if dry enough. good luck. Also if you read alittle or google your questions you can get a rapid responce.Only experience can really teach you. Just try and if you fail make the proper change next time... When the stem is dry enough to snap and not just bend. You can jar it or smoke.

    Clipping and drying process questions

When ever i trim my buds i do it before i dry because leaves are all perked up and easy to trim neatly. Than i either hang them to dry upside down or in a cardboard box wit newspaper or brown paper bag. Also i usually save my leave trimmings and make ice hash if im not to lazy.

Curing is overrated, it removes some of the harshness but does nothing for potency.
