lights help
hi ppl any help will be great thanks in advance
i am just starting a very small grow now 2 plants max mabye even one on its own just want a bit of smoke and i enjoy the growing so here are my questions ????
I can see here that you can grow using those flouresent tubes as lighting.
Are they the normal tubes as seen in offices and other buildings or do i need a special kind of tube, i have bought a envirolight cfl and done a grow before two years ago and ruined it by harvesting too early, so i will have more patience this time i sold the lights after that grow and have little or no budget for lighting this time, but could get my hands on some of these long tubular lights do they work the same as compact fl lights or any other options would be great .......lenomark Reviewed by lenomark on . lights help hi ppl any help will be great thanks in advance i am just starting a very small grow now 2 plants max mabye even one on its own just want a bit of smoke and i enjoy the growing so here are my questions ???? lights help
Im using 6500k T8 Fluorescent tubes now and my plants seem to be growing pretty good considering the mess I started with.
I had one fixture on hand and had to buy a second at walmart for $12 and the bulbs themselves are were $15 for two two-packs at Home Depot.
You can check out my thread HERE to see how my girls are going now.
I would suggest better lighting but for a small grow you should be fine with T8's or even CFL's if you wanna keep the budget down.
BTW, if you do use T8's your going to need to buy different bulbs when you switch to flowering but the T8's reco'ed for flowering are $15 bucks at Home Depot too.
EDIT: Grow atleast two plants. That way if one ends up male you still have a female to harvest in the end. I started saying "only one" and now I have four just in case...- CanComs Troubleshooting form
