i always take the pills on an empty stomach and then chase it down with bread...BREAD AND MILK form coatings around the lining of your stomach and yes it will definitely help with the nausea...if you eat before you swallow the pills, they will sit on top of the food and take longer to work...if you swallow the pills FIRST and THEN eat, they'll dissolve faster and absorb faster....i like to chew them up first too, just so they don't sit in my stomach for as long...

to what extent the food helps the nausea will also depend on how much you're taking...if you take over 40 mg of oxycodone, it might make you feel kind of tired and queasy anyways...if you get those little tiny pills, you can snort 'em and you don't have to worry so much...but yeah, don't let that nausea scare you away from such a beautiful drug...just eat some food, drink plenty of water for the first half hour to hour after you swallow the pills, the water will flush them on through...
