tylox 5 is the same as the percocet 5, it's the same drug with a different brand name...

oxycodone, morphine, codeine, hydrocodone, oxymorphone, methadone, heroin, naloxone, there's an endless list of drugs that are all from the same plant, the opium poppy...different chemical alterations do different things, for example, naloxone reverses the effects of morphine and heroin overdoses by blocking receptors instead of enhancing them like the others do...it's a group of drugs called opiates, or narcotic painkillers...opium itself (the kind you smoke from the plant) is actually a natural combination of morphine, codeine and two other chemicals that can be separated out the way pharmaceutical labs do...

these syntheses even go so far as to derive dextromethorphan (common cough medicine OTC) from morphine...

but yeah, oxycodone is a synthetic drug that (in large doses) compares slightly in potency and addiction potential to heroin...methadone (as you may know) is used to taper off heroin addiction...

i've never done heroin, though i know i would get addicted...i've been all strung out on pill forms though...still take them any chance i get...love to take about 60 or 70 mg oxycodone...
