It doesnt look that bad to me :thumbsup:.

#1 thing would be more light, more light, and some more light. Those Cfls only put out so much, so your going to need alot of them(preferabally in bigger wattages too)
Use the 5000K bulbs for vegetatative growth to encourage leaf growth and keep your plants from stretching And throw in the 2700k bulbs when you go into flower. Your going to want alot more though if you want to get a good yield. When you do flower the plant is gunna stretch and its going to need CFLs all around the plant, not just above. They can work fine, but they dont penetrate the canopy worth a shit.

Your soil is not ideal, but it will work to grow some decent herb. With the MG moisture control stuff you may run into overwatering problems. Just watch your plant and pay attention to the soil moisture. Experienced growers dont have a set watering schedule, they only water and fertalize when needed.

If you were planning on doing that....

Go to a hydroponics store and purchase a PH test kit, PPM pen(its optional, but you can find some cheaper ones online), and some good nutrients. Grow formula for veg, Bloom formula for Bloom. Miracle grow fertalizer wont work, its not meant for hydroponics and will end in disaster.



Its also extremely stressfull to the plant and roots. If your plants do survive, its probably going to be a couple of weeks until you see solid growth again.

If you do decide to transplant that thing into a a DWC setup. Get some qaulity hydroponics components(net pots, hydroton, air pump, air stones) and please please please.....Dont half ass things. i see alot of new growers on theis who half ass growsand destroy their crops out of idiocracy. I refuse to let you go down that way.
