I've hit it folks. My unemployment ran out this week. It was supposed to go until Oct. but someone decided in the unemployment office that I've had enough money. I'm still showing over 5,000 dollars in my balance but I was cut off.
I have about 100 resumes out and I applied online about the same amount. No go. I have no way of getting medicine now and I don't have the funds to grow.
I'm a month and half behind on my car payments. My medication is 87.00 per month (no longer have health care insurance). I have thousands of dollars in doctor bills. I don't know what to do. I'm going down for the third time and I don't see a way out.
I've already had two anxiety attacks. I have two elderly parents that depend on me and need money from me to help them make ends meet. Ends are not meeting. :: sigh ::

A simple thought, but a good reminder.
Try it.
Make the list.

I as well lost my unemployment two months ago. I cant offer you any advice on the job hunt because i am in the same spot i have been able to find jobs and be offered a job but of course i cant pass a drug test. We are always a month behind on all of our bills. Luckily my husband is a jack of all trades and has picked up some side work or we would be two months behind this month and possibly looking at eviction.
I cant say things will turn around becasue i honestly dont know if they will. I am here if you need to talk. My contact info should be on my page send me a email. If you want.[SIZE=\"2\"][COLOR=\"Red\"]PILLS KILL.. POT HEALS...**

Thank you so much. That made me feel better. I'm a proud old Mormon. I'm not looking for hand-outs or money or anything. Just moral support.
I live in the northwestern part of the state so my options are severely limited. I applied for a job with the local hospital and this is how their response started off:
"Due to the NUMEROUS applications...."
That never bodes well. Seven years I worked for my last job. I loved it. I don't want a different job. I want my old job. Oh well. Life goes on.
Hang in there everybody. This too shall pass.

Wow. I've been crying for two days straight. I think I've mentioned before that my mom is terminal and that was the main reason I came back to New Mexico plus my dad has Alzheimer's. They depend on my income to help with the MANY meds my mom requires to survive.
I never thought I'd be in this place. I've worked since I was 16 years old. I've never been without a job before. I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around it. I would still HAVE a job if they hadn't outsourced.

Totah Sam:
I know a lady who helps folks out like you and your parents in need. She counsels people about medical programs, medication assistance, and income support to overcome short term situations. This lady takes great pride in helping those who, want to get back on their feet.
Last March I went flat on my face with illness, and went through some very tough times. She helped me out of some serious problems, and sure she can help you get back to where you need to be. For privacy reasons I cannot post her contact information here.
Please email me, my contact information in on my profile page.
Take care brother, tough time's are only temporary, tough people are not.

The Lord felt sorry for me...
I was just approved for tier II unemployment benefits. I appealed and they said o.k.. Whew... I'd rather have a job but at least I'll have some money coming in.
