Intro and just received Doc Recommend
Just wanted to introduce myself and get some info. Name is Dewey. 40 y/o with a rare genetic neurological disease. Spino Cerebellar Ataxia type 2 (SCA2). Abnormal protiens attach themselves to cells in my cerebellum causing cells to die and cerebellum to atrophy. Resulting in loss of balance, fine motor skills, slurred speach, and cognitive decline. Disease is degenerative with no known cure. Symptoms can be treated but that is it. One of the symptoms is extremely painful neuropathy in my legs and feet. I have tried all of the normal treaments for neuropathy with nothing relieving the pain. My neuro this past week signed the recommendation for MMJ. My medical records detail all of the treatments that have been tried with the diagnosis of SCA2 and painful neuropathy. I have sent in the app. Now wondering what to expect next. Thanks all.
