MADE A SERIOUS MISTAKE!! PLEASE HELP.

I made a newbie move -- ordered a HPS lamp off of Amazon to my house with a CC!!! PLEASE ADVISE!

Please reply if you have experience with online ordering to the house. Is it safe or ABORT the grow room?

That sucks that you have to worry about it. I would try to get a script if your state allows it. Don't sweat it though. I don't think any law enforcement is going to waste time on 1 lamp. Maybe if your order 20 lamps online that would draw some unwanted attention. They would also need a warrant to search your place, and would have to punk the website for your information. There is no way to prove you bought the lamp for growing pot.

Here are some tips if you want to stay under the radar
    Pay cash for grow materials
    Don't grow in an apartment
    Smell proof your house
    Keep your yard clean
    Dispose of grow materials discretely
    Have a taxable income
Be nice to your neighbors, but don't let them know you grow
    Don't mess with PGE eqiupment
Don't have too high of a PGE bill

Hmm. A couple of questions come to mind...
Was it your CC? At which point did you decide it was a mistake? Does this happen often? :wtf:
Are you sure you've thought this cannagardening stuff all the way through to one of two or three likely conclusions...and the myriad of peripheral possibilities? This isn't a commitment to take lightly, especially if the law isn't on your side. Not much room for error, so thinking before you act is paramount.

Perhaps there's a lesson here somewhere.
    Or perhaps not.

Sanctimonious...? Possibly. But if you don't take your security, safety and responsibilities seriously, who will?

    But honestly...good luck.

So what do you guys recommend? Carry on (discretely) or Abort? I can also return the lamp to the company (LEDWHOLESALERS.COM). Will returning it solve some problems?

Also, anyone know if LEDWHOLESALERS.COM is a safe place to be buying from?

Lol Rusty... personally I would just never do it again. Get a prepaid CC, maybe a P.O. box as well or send to someones house that you trully trust (read family member) and get to growing. Hahaha, now that I think of it, I was paranoid about posting on an m/j website so what do I know

No, he writes like he's panicking.

As he's said nothing about the company, other than the fact that it's where he got his equipment, it seems to me he's curious if the purchase from them might get him busted.

Have seen this on occation, but usually it's seeds and seed vendors they are panicking about. So I guess it's comforting to find-out others have made the same purchases from the same store, without incident.

    +1

I was a bit psyched out about my seed order from Rinoseeds. But I got my "DVD" yesterday in spite of international regulations.

I'm mainly only worried about the fact that I had to register as a caregiver,... so in some gov file, there's a copy of my info SAYING that I GROW WEED! :rastasmoke:

LEDwholesalers is a safe site, I've ordered a few things from them. (Non grow related) You might be surprised how many people indoor crop tomato's!
