Tube, A way to make it more flexible?

I purchased a tube out of the plumbing section. Vinyle clear tube.

The tube is rather stiff, could I boil it or do something to make it more flexible?

I've heard you can boil it to make it more pliable. To bend pvc tubing, I use a hot air paint stripper (which is just a high powered hair dryer)

For Vinyl I would think boiling would be your best bet, just make sure too use some tongs or something so you dont get burnt.Use a decent size pot and plenty of water, check it every once in a while too make sure something funky isnt gonna happen.

Good point DP , and heating any plastic will exacerbate (make it worse) out gassing issues.

I'd flush very well and test first if possible. Got any old house plants or peppers around?
