Looking for advice to improve my budget grow

    Whats up?

    Welcome to cancom!

Lets see if I can give you some tips...

First of all they should be planted by themselves and NOT in clear containers. The light is harmful to the roots. Also when they are planted together the strong ones tend to strangle and kill the others in the pot.

Aluminum foil is bad for reflecting light and can focus light and heat in your plants. Use mylar, panda film, or cheapest of all FLAT white spray paint.

By upgrading your exhaust fan you can pull hot air out faster.

You also need a fan inside blowing the air around. It can help with heat, humidity, and it also strengthens your plants stems to be able to support flowers later on.

Also the floro tubes... the plants are way too small to be benefiting from them now since they are so far away from them. With floros and CFLs they need to be close to be effective.
You can probably turn them off for now until they get bigger. It would also help to replace the small CFLs with 26w ones.

Hope I could help and goodluck growing!

    Oh ya....

I would remove the budweiser cans and go with bud light ones. Might not be an improvement for your grow room but it will be an improvement for your taste buds!

    Just my oppinion anyways.

Thanks for the advice. I forgot to mention I am on a super small budget so i pretty much have to work with what ive got for now. i dont plan on letting them get to big, maybe about a foot or so tall, do think i can leave them in shared containers or do u have a better suggestion that can still work for my small space. plus i will be pulling any males so that will give them more room. and do u think if i just ran some masking tape around the planters that would be good enough to keep the light off the roots?
i also turned off all of the tubes except the bottom two and right now temps are around 75*. i know i need a fan to circulate air inside the box but im poor, hopefully i can find an adequate one at the dollar store.
they are comming alsong quite nicely and each have a new set of leaves now , i also sprouted some more because I would like to have 3 per container. that way after i remove males and if some die i will still have some to flower. yesterday i started at nutes so i hope their growth will speed up. thanks for the advice

These are not real plants, just pictures from the internet. I do not grow marijuana and I am only roleplaying by posting this.

floro tubes will work, But get em closer to the tubes. The plants need light and they can be all but against them to recieve proper light to grow.

So there is only a week between the first pics and the new ones. I added up my lumens and watts yesterday and i should be around 8000 lumens and 159 watts currently, 9200 and 210 with the rest of the tubes turned on. The dresser is 2 sq ft. I want them to be about a foot tall before i switch to 12/12 and change the bulbs. Do u guys think they will be ready for that in a month?
