Trichome Question

Hi my girls have been flowering for a few weeks and after the last couple days have been sunny i've noticed trichomes have appeared (white powdery substance? correct me if i'm wrong) My Q is, have the trichomes appeared because of the sun or is it just a natural progression of flowering?
Also will wind and rain get rid of these triches?

trichomes look like glass mushrooms. They are not so powerdy, but more frosty if that makes sense. The will glimmer in the light a little.

just being sure that you are not getting powerdy mildew. which is a real problem usually associated with humidity and heat.

Are you sure that you are looking at the trichomes and not the pistils thats shooting out of your buds. The trichomes are pretty small and you need a magnifying glass to really get a good look at them.

If you look at this bud you will see the glassy trichomes in the back ground of the rusty color pistils. Hope this helps ya man. The trichomes are what you want to look at to gage when to harvest.

And very normal and will not fall off, you will be smoking them soon
