    sexing plants

    okay have 2 plants that are about 5 wks old and they are about 6 inches tall (mystery seeds)starting to think about sexing these i was wondering if i put them on 12/12 and find out they are both females would i be able to put them back on veg cycle to let them catch up with my other plants and what kinda problems to expect if i do and thanks in advance for any answers i may receive.

    pull a clone or 2 off each...flower um both... even if they are both female one might be more potent than the other:hippy:

    to answer your question TTOY, yes, you can put them into flower and then revert back to veg once they show their sex. this could however stress them out and cause issues.

    doing what vaped said is easier and also gives you a little sneak preview if you finish them out.

    I did the clone in flower thang so I will comment on that. When you take clones from flowering plants you need to make sure you leave plenty of time for the plant to veg before sticking it back into flower mode again. My particular issues stemmed once from sexing plants and then flowering too early afterward. It causes strange long large leaves and stretching in my case.
