Those are two great fantasy teams. You are lucky for getting Frank Gore, I wanted him sooo bad. I was in a 49er leaugue so he went in the first round after I picked Aaron Rodgers. My 3rd round pick was the 49er defense so I suffered with shitty running backs as 4th and 5th round picks. Other than that I think I might have a chance to make the playoffs if I can find a better replacement for Cadillac Williams. Good luck Blazer, let me know how it goes.

Well, I should stipulate that there were only 10 teams in both leagues. Makes coming up with a star studded roster a lot easier.

Looks like you have a decent team. You never know until the season gets going. Last year I was blowing folks away and then a few injuries and . . . blam, losing streak.

Good luck to you too GM420.

I lost my first week matchup, but I had the third highest scoring team in my league. I am pretty confident in my team, even moreso after making a few changes to my lineup for this week. I am predicted to win my matchup this week, so hopefully that happens. Here is my updated roster with a few matchup tweaks.

    -Starters-

    QB - Aaron Rodgers (GB)
RB - Brandon Jackson (GB) *Starting RB for week 2*
RB - Fred Taylor (NE) *Flux RB for week 2*
    WR - Reggie Wayne (IND)
    WR - Wes Welker (NE)
WR - Devery Henderson (NO) *Replaced Derrick Mason as 3rd WR starter*
    TE - Antonio Gates (SD)

    K - Stephen Gostkowski (NE)

DEF - Oakland Raiders (OAK) *Borrowed for week 2 matchup vs STL*

    -Bench-

DEF - San Francisco 49ers (SF) *Pulled for bad week 2 matchup vs NO*
RB - Pierre Thomas (NO) *Pulled for bad week 2 matchup vs SF*
    RB - LaDainian Tomlinson (NYJ)
    RB - Clinton Portis (WAS)
    WR - T.J. Houshmandzadeh (BAL)
WR - Santonio Holmes (NYJ) *Suspended through week 4*

After week 2, I will be dropping the Oakland Raiders defense and a Benched RB for the 2 best players I can find. Possibly a backup QB and either another WR, or a better RB if I can find one.

Ouch.... Sorry about that. After the first 2 weeks I am 1-1 and ranked 4th in my league. I am standing good thus far, but still am looking for solid runners which seems to be my achilles heel.

I did a lot of shuffling again this weekend, but am starting to settle down with a roster I am comfortable with. My strategy here is to play the waiver wire better than anyone else in my league which has been successfull so far. I ended up swapping out Oakland and subbing in Atlanta's defense last week which really paid off.

    Starting Roster:

    QB - Aaron Rodgers (GB)
    RB - Brandon Jackson (GB)
    RB - Pierre Thomas (NO)
    WR - Reggie Wayne (IND)
    WR - Wes Welker (NE)
    WR - Mike Williams (TB)
    TE - Antonio Gates (SD)

    K- Stephen Gostkowski (NE)

    DEF - San Francisco 49ers

    Bench Roster:

    RB - Fred Taylor (NE)
    RB - Ladanian Tomlinson (NYJ)
    RB - Clinton Portis (WAS)
    RB - Peyton Hillis (CLE)
    WR - Mark Clayton (STL)
    WR - Devery Henderson (NO)

I hear you. I've been working the FAs myself. With only 10 teams in each league, there's always some hidden gems. The competition is still tight though.

I fared much better this week winning both games. So I am also 1-1 in both leagues now.

I see you have Peyton Hillis on the bench. Keep your eye on him. He may start getting more carries seeing as how he's scored TDs in both games.

I'm in a 10 team league as well, so that does make it a little easier to play the waiver wire. After week 3 I am 1-2, not a great start but I have faced the top 2 teams in my league through 3 weeks and it looks like competition is only getting tougher. After tons of shuffling I am starting to really assemble a team to stick with.

    --Starters for week 4--

QB - Aaron Rodgers (GB Packers)
RB - Peyton Hillis (CLE Browns)
RB - LaDanian Tomlinson (NY Jets)
WR - Reggie Wayne (IND Colts)
WR - Wes Welker (NE Patriots)
WR - Braylon Edwards (NY Jets)
TE - Antonio Gates (SD Chargers)

K - Stephen Gostowski (NE Patriots)

    DEF - Atlanta Falcons

    --Benched for week 4--

RB - Pierre Thomas (NO Saints)
RB - Brandon Jackson (GB Packers)
WR - Santonio Holmes (NY Jets)
WR - Kevin Walter (HOU Texans)
WR - Mark Clayton (STL Rams)
    DEF - San Francisco 49ers

I'm 1-2 in one league and 2-1 in the other.

    1-0 in the cannabis.com league.
