Just got locked up over a gram.

I got locked up over a gram that wasn't on me and that shit is just troubling me. The officer said he saw me go around the corner but he didn't see me drop the weed and it was a good 10 ft away from me. For those who don't know I live Mont. County MD, one of the richest counties in the country, and police are so bloodthirsty to lock people up. I know in the end Im just going to pay a fine for paraphenilia or something but I can't take this BS anymore I'm about to move somewhere where they don't blow small stuff out of proportion. I shouldn't even have to go to court for this crap. I just want to eventually be able to live, grow, and smoke in peace. Living here is literally ruining my life picking up all these petty fucking charges. Seems like when I stay to myself I'm fine but whenever I'm around other people I always get in trouble. I'm willing to move anywhere in the country where I'll be able to live in peace. Anyway Im just venting.

Sorry to here about it. I tend to stay to myself most of the time. I medicate and enjoy everything that life has to offer. Not to say I don't blaze with buddies, but it's few and far between and when it does happen it's at someone's place. I live in Cali. and have my mmj rec and card so I generally don't have to worry about it. I medicate in public all the time since the law states that I can medicate wherever smoking is allowed, but I am VERY discreet both out of respect for those around me and not wanting LEO contacts over something stupid. I'm legal but that doesn't mean they can't mess with me and take up a good part of my day. Lots of nice places to live out here!:jointsmile:

Maryland sucks, and if the bag wasn't on you, they can't pin it on you. But, the way they operate back east any more, once you get into the system, they want to keep you in it. You sound young, so save your money and like Horace Greeley once said, "Go west young man, go west!"

you are definitely right.. but I wasnt smoking outside nor was I doing anything wrong. My "buddy" wanted to eat some chips before we went into the gym so we sat down at a bench and right after we sit down here they come. I'm not worried about the outcome of the case.. whatever happens.. happens. I just want to move somewhere where I can live in peace. Living out here has been the single worst experience in my life. Ive tried to make the best out of it but it's about that time that I leave. This area is too petty for me.. from the legal system to the people around here. And yea I am still young, 23 to be exact. I don't want to waste out here when I could go somewhere where I can thrive.

I hear you man... I live on the opposite side of DC in virginia and the cops here are ridiculous as well. Its great being in the area but the police here are dicks. You ever thought about moving into the district? DC passed medical but the laws are still under contruction. Also its a tad bit out of my price range to live inside the district.

Also my buddies who live in mont. co say that in MD you can say that you use the herb for medicinal use in court WITHOUT a doctors note. The state laws are half assed but maybe you can get out of it.


Im definitely saving my money to move west. Cali or washington... We must go west my friend! Goodluck with everything.

I don't really like DC. Its cool but I couldnt live there. I love Cali but I dont if Im trying to up and move out there. I want to move to GA or FLA. At least parts of GA are laid back enough to the point where you arent constantly getting harrassed. I just want to be able to relax, work, have my own place where I can grow a few plants at most. Moving to Cali would be tooo much of a change right now.

My local cops could care less about smoking weed.
Anything less than an OZ they usually just let you go or will stomp it out if a supervisor is around.
Theres alot more drugs out there being used that people should be getting locked up for!
