A little overwhelmed.
Okay, so I'm new to the entire process of everything. I've had chronic shin splints for the past three years (this is where the muscle attached to your front shin bone starts to tear apart from it for whatever reason). When I first got them, I went to my doctor and he said there was nothing medically that they could do about it. I just needed to lower my sodium intake and increase water and potassium. Well, I've done this many times and they just don't go away. On top of this, I've had migraines for the past couple years as well, and anything over the counter just isn't helping anymore. I was taking Excedrine Migraine for quite some time, and my body has finally gotten used to it and nothing else I've tried works. Unfortunately, I don't have any insurance at the moment and no previous doctor records showing more than one visit for each issue. Though I know many people would believe these reasons, I seem to have a hard time finding a doctor to actually believe that I've got this pain! It's very frustrating and I'm starting to run out of temporary fixes. I've recently (over the past couple months) found that marijuana helps immensely with my migraines and dulls the pain of the shin splints, and have also heard of a medical marijuana card. I've been trying to research it, but I don't know who to trust and who'd be a scam! All I want is someone to listen and a way to reduce the damage I know I've done to my poor liver from all the asprin. If there is anyone who could help I would be eternally grateful! And thank you for listening to my short novel! lol
