! Fire detector extinguisher automatic !

No, there was no fire, although if there were it would be too late to get some fire detection and suppression tools. In fact, I'm shocked that my search for "Fire Extinguisher" yielded not one result by title. Yes, checked the spelling. Granted, the CabCom search is feeble at best, the subject seems totally ignored. This is my shocked face:

Just think about how these powerful fans would literally supercharge a small fire (with tons of air flow) into a fire tornado through walls floor and attics! Add to that wood, plastic/sheeting, and soon to be dry plant kindling for extra fuel! One more time:
    :flaming1:

'Saw an "Automatic Fire Extinguisher" at a store and it was like an epiphany. For about $40 it's like a upper small sized hand held fire extinguisher except it had one of those thermo wax heat sensitive spray heads. I would assume this would go in ones ballast section first. Or not, opine? I'm not even sure if it stands up or has to be mounted above in an upside down configuration.

Anyway, fire/carbon monoxide (CO) detector is dirt cheap, hand held extinguishers (rated for electrical fire), ample water (which you should have around anyway) should be in all houses.

For extra measure that any indoor grower really must consider above and beyond is IMHO; automatic fire extinguisher for each area/section/room, supplemental (extra hand helds? and/or indoor water hose), and preferably a good reliable dog. Dog must have escape route (doggy door) as an extra measure too.

    Question:
What extra electrical measure could also be taken to also cut power by way of temperature and not only amperage draw cut off?

    Cheers, Doc Oc out.

P.s. I would have posted some pix except that function is not currently available to me. Why, I do not know.

I would have added some pix but since 99 out of 99 views decided to contribute nothing I figured fuck it.

Anyone checked out that new site hennepdesk? They have one in english now too. It looks really good and if people don't post in a week they get kicked out! Interesting.

did you have any luck with this? i was also looking into getting a fire extinguisher, automatic of course, didnt have much luck though, most of the small devices are overpriced and dont really seem adequate enough to put out any fires, they probably are though, but i still wouldnt trust them and at the end of the day i would want one to put my mind at ease. The route of industrial style sprinklers might be worth checkin out or even a garden sprinkler connected to mains water supply hooked up to a heat sensor could work but im delving into the realms of fantasy here lol, the plumbing and electrical knowledge would be way beyond me...

Dont laugh but ive suspended 2 big buckets of water attached to string and 2 pulleys that would cause them to empty onto the grow if the string was to burn through which although, admittedly it isa pure bodge im confident it would work.
