medical marijuana for Spinal cord injury question???
I have a spinal cord injury from a few years ago from a slipped disk. I currently live in michigan were it was passed in proposal 1. I am paralyzed from level t4 and down. I am currently prescribed and taking about 5 pills a day for muscle spasms. The muscle spasms i get with my medication is somewhat and for the most part controlled. However if i fo not take the medication they can become irratant and violent. So i guess what im trying to do is get my MML. It helps with the spasms but i dont exactly lnow to what degree it would help giving that its not the correct medical strain ive been using. So what i am trying to find out would this be enough evidense to get my MMC. I woild like to go n tell the doctor i would like to go all naturall instead of drugging myself up with 5 or 6 pills a day for the spasms. But also if this were to work i would like to have those pill prescriptions as a resort for if i need 1 a day or 2. So would i beable to get mmc with this disablity and does it void any other prescription from another doctor or the past?

medical marijuana for Spinal cord injury question???
I would suggest going to the doctor armed with a medical study on the topic. This study is the only one I can provide at the time, it pertains to the use of drobinal with spinal cord injury patients. Drobinol is a THC derivitive, so of course the natural route of mmj is preferred since there are no side effects such as vomiting, stomach pain, etc.
Clinical Studies and Case Reports
Best of luck to you.

One of the best ways is to show you are opiate intolerant, it makes you throw up or break out in a rash. Get a couple prescriptions for pain meds and say you can't take them. Then he should be willing to give MMJ a try.
