Lucky day!!! Found plant and need questions answered!

I was walking around today and at the edge of my property i had a few old clay pots that i put on the edge of the woods. I guess someone put a seed in one of the pots and it's been growing there all summer. every one of my friends smoke and was around in spring when I had 50 pots out for the garden but i put the ones i didn't use over at the edge of the yard. Been mowing all summer and didn't even see it in the tall weeds about a foot off the edge i mow. Anyways, I was watching the storms roll across Arkansas and happened to look at a bird that was in the tree next to it and BAM! There was the top of this plant that looked just like a little bud. Walked over and dammmm, It was a female just starting to bud i think. It may have been budding for a while but i do not know. Well, it was in a little bitty clay pot and I decided to jump on the ole internet for some info. My questions follow and i have included photo's:

1st... It was in a very small pot so this plant didn't get big. Maybe 2 1/2 feet tall or so. I put it in a much bigger pot(as you can see in the pics). Will this help? The roots were pretty thick in the smaller pot. I'm sure it was rootbound. Still, will the bigger pot help?

2nd. Can someone estimate what stage it's in and maybe how long left?

3rd. Do I need to check PH, add Blooming agent, give it more light?

Like i said, it's a small plant but It has a bunch of little buds,(much smaller that everyone's pics on here) and they have purple things/purple hairs(lol). It got bit by a bunch of bugs i think as it is missing some leave's, some are all chewed, and some new leaves are just ate halfway down. Other than that, it seems to be doing ok. Anyone care to guess what i got here. Hell, any help to get this plant to make some juicy buds would be great. Don't want to burn this plant up chemically though. It's not big but it grew all this hot summer with limited rain and I'm afraid to do much to this poor thing. Any idea's anyone?

Now its in a bigger pot and budding it could get close to a 3rd bigger. I might give it some ferts in less its in pre fert ed soil. Just keep it outside tho, it will do its thing, it has up till ya found it. The re pot will help it stretch it roots out and get bigger before its all finish, but make sure it gets at least the same amount of sun..

Good find as its your pot and property, now your plant:weedpoke:

I put the plant in a pot with soil that had been outside all summer with local flowering grasses so it should have been very light on the fertilizer. I'm sure it would help adding some. I put it right back in the same spot it came from also. I will just give it water as needed and whatever fert people think would be best. Give me some products to look for please. Thanks for the help.

P.S. Any idea what strain it is?

Judging by the narrow leaves, its a sativa.

Looks like it is in early flowering. My guess is it needs another 7-8 weeks, so mid to late October is when you should harvest it.

Get some Fox Farm Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. One tblsp of Big Bloom and 2 tsps of Tiger Bloom per gallon every other watering.:jointsmile:

I looked where the sun was today in relation to the plant and noticed at about 3pm the spot goes into the shade. The sun has moved southern and the plant was probably getting sun till 7pm but in the last few weeks i'm sure the sun has been heading south. That doesn't provide as much sun and everyday it will get shorter. I have a spot farther back at the property that gets sun till 6-6:30. Should I move it back there to give it more hours of sun or leave it where it's at???

Also, tonight is in the mid 50s temps for the first time since spring... How do the plants react to cold fronts coming through?

Thanks for the replies! imp:

as long as you are getting 6-8 hours of direct sunlight. leave it be. it was use to that light cycle. Also 50's at night is fine. They are good up till frost. You have another month or two to flower. With room for roots and food . that baby should finish nice.

As soon as the nights started to get cool, my buds begain to grow. And now that the temps are cooler at night and sunny in the afternoon, the buds are getting bigger. They just needed that cool night to remind them to get busy and bud:thumbsup:so its a good thing man.

Well, i got some bloom and have fed twice with it. Wow.. it really helped the plant alot even only feeding twice so far. Looks great. I will post a pic when i can get a chance to take one. In the last few days i have noticed trichomes starting to appear on the bud leaves all over and on the edge of the fan leaves. Can anyone give me a more detailed explanation of the stages of budding? I have read pretty much all the other post but most of them already show lots of trichomes. also, my buds just started getting bigger and more little leaves are growing in them. Will they get alot bigger or do those leaves just get bigger or will more little new leaves in the bud come in? How many weeks till the whole buds are covered and yes, i am going to get a magnifying glass to check them closely. Thanks for any info.
