AgentSmith and Pisshead: I went to prisonplanet.com and looked into Alex Jones. I watched his documentary Martial Law: 9-11: Rise of the Police State and listened to his take on Peak Oil. After listening to all that and cruising the site I found it really hard to believe much of what he said. I went on to look into his credibility and I couldn't find any major sites that spoke of him at all. One article I found is here: http://www.nndb.com/people/969/000048825/. As a rational person I don't know how you could believe what this guy is saying. I know conspiracy theories are fun and often intriguing but at the heart are usually false. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy's wrong too. His claims are very radical. Peak Oil is a real issue and deserves people's attention.

Dude im not even gonna watch it. Because for 1 thing the oil peak is a fact(it will happen eventually), its not just some rumor, what would be the point in spreading such a rumor neway? Plus, as burgess said, its hardly ever in the mainstream media. Oil is a limited natural resource like gold and diamonds. Thats what gives it its value, and its that very value that is the major reason we are gonna milk oil for every last bit of its worth. Because oil is cheaper than any fuel that they would have to mass produce.
besides ive already heard enough of those infowars/prisonplanet "conspiracy theories", and for some reason the movie seems to be down temporarily.

Holy shit i remember that dude (Alex Jones) now from waking life, that was way b4 id ever seen his websites, or knew jack about him. I really liked waking life too, but I thought that dude was just a stereotypical character of an angry conspiracy theorist... =P

They are not getting killed because of some yuppie ! They are being killed because someone told them to go into a country that they aren't welcomed and they are getting the results of that. They are not fighting for my freedom. I can fight for my own freedom. They are not fighting for the Iraqi's freedom either. They are fighting because they were told to. Its not about having enough oil,,but what you will pay for it.The US capped many large oil fields starting in the 30's.Humble for example.They have shut down field in Alaska,Oklahoma,and Texas for starters.These fields will be reopened later to produce more expensive crude,by cheaper means.There is no immediate decline in fossil fuel, just ppl trying to manipulate the market.-usdi Agaluga

If we have plenty of oil already, why are so many republicans pushing to drill national parks in alaska? It just doesn't add up.
