I have to call BS here, I have forgot to turn mine back on after a cleaning of the emitters for over a day. sure they wilted a little but because there is always a 1" or so of liquid in the buckets.they come right back.

your both correct.
Daddy you are failing to realize that in a true aeroponic system there wont be pools of water sitting around. If there are then your running a hybrid DWC system. Lots of aeroponic system have roots so fragile that if the pump fails to spray a few cycles the roots dry up. When I played around with fog, I could kill my roots inside 30 minutes really easy.

Ya your right mine is a low pressure spray system, sprayers under the bucket lid.
checked out a lot of different systems befor building mine decided against the fog for that very reason. My power does go out occasionaly.

hello daddy, if you remember you gave me some advise on areoponics when I started. Pretty much the same things your saying now, thou I think I might have corrected the problems a little bit on clogs and space for roots. I've like to post some pics that I finaly got down loaded to my computor know I can't seem to find who to get them on my log any help. I think the way to go is to pick away you like or would like to try and real plan, think it out, and test before you realy place them girls. So if you have issues they shoudn't be to critical but shit happens, one day woke to find that one of the hoses had got loose and had pumped all the nutirents all on the floor. One good thing I layed heavy duty trap on floor and up the wall so cleanup was somewhat easy one other thing is always have a batch of nutirents ready. All in all, I think any way you go hydroponics they all take some kind of maintence.:stoned:
