    Minimum Height to Flower

    Hello everyone,
I had a outdoor grow going all summer and after my plant reached a bushy 8 feet, I discovered it was a male. I am moving to Colorado in a couple months and am reallly bored now that (what turned into full time) hobby is over. I recently germinated and sprouted with another seed to keep me busy, but I know it wont be done and ready by the time I move if I wait until its about 12" to flower. I am wondering what the minimal size is to enduce flowering. This was my first time grow this year and I was super stoked to smoke buds I grew, so if theres a chance to grow, and flower and pull off even a gram or two of good smokable bud by the time I leave it would be great. I have a good setup for one indoor plant, im just wondering when is the earliest I can induce flowering on a plant. Im just super bored and love growing!!
    Thanks Guys!

As long as its on a 12/12 cycle it will bud. You can start a plant on a 12/12 cycle from the start. But youre going to get a few grams max that way.

one addition....the plant needs to be mature before you can flower it. Normally a plant matures after 3 to 4 weeks in veg. Just as soon as you start to see leaves forming in a staggered fashion instead of dead even across, then the plant will be ready to flower. Normally this would be about 8" or so in height. Try it. I flowered my plants at 12" and they grew to 23" the following week.

Ur pic is hilarious. Great job on the tree by the way. Very impressive for a male.

Yup. Flowering from seed will also add a couple weeks to the normal flowering cycle, and the plant might not reach it's full potential versus vegging it to maturity, but you can certainly do it. I'd venture to say it's better than vegging longer and cutting down a month early.

I usually flower after the plants reach 12-15 inches tall...(about 30 days..under HID lights)......(I can't stand vegging males...so I flip early to see who's who?)

Only problem with that?...the stem is a little weak...if she turns into a top heavy bitch...
