But so you bring up another point...

2 ozs of what? 2 ozs of buds? 2 ozs of hashish or oils? I've never seen anything in Amendment 20 or the new law that makes a distinction, but it would seem to be impossible to end up with 2 ozs of hash without first having substantially more materials at some point along the way between harvest, curing, and making a concentrate.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not really complaining. I'm much happier with the way things are now than a few years back. It's just that there seem to be a lot of contradictions in all of this that make it tough for people to stick to the letter of the law, even if they try.

(i) "Usable form of marijuana" means the seeds, leaves, buds, and flowers of the plant (genus) cannabis, and any mixture or preparation thereof, which are appropriate for medical use as provided in this section, but excludes the plant's stalks, stems, and roots.

So that means don't leave your old fan leaves kicking around, cuz they count.

And don't hang tons of weight on an edibles rec either. It might help once you get to court, but not in a LEO encounter. If you have to go to court, you had better be able to prove the need, have your doctor there to back you up, and be able to sell it to a jury.

Additional plant recs only provide for an affirmative defense, not an exception to the law as provided by a 6 plant rec.

And yes, it takes you +/- 20oz of sugar trim to get 2oz of hash. So you make it small batches at a time.
