MMC's aquiring extra Meds
I actually have an edibles recommendation, so I'm pretty sure that's just what I'll end up doing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not really complaining. I'm much happier with the way things are now than a few years back. It's just that there seem to be a lot of contradictions in all of this that make it tough for people to stick to the letter of the law, even if they try.

So that means don't leave your old fan leaves kicking around, cuz they count.
And don't hang tons of weight on an edibles rec either. It might help once you get to court, but not in a LEO encounter. If you have to go to court, you had better be able to prove the need, have your doctor there to back you up, and be able to sell it to a jury.
Additional plant recs only provide for an affirmative defense, not an exception to the law as provided by a 6 plant rec.
And yes, it takes you +/- 20oz of sugar trim to get 2oz of hash. So you make it small batches at a time.

So if we take our extras or what would be extras and make cookies with and then have 2 ozs of buds what is to stop them from taking the cookies you made from leaves and counting that in the weight of 2 ozs. These laws are piss poor and dont communicate definitive rules for us to follow allowing for Leo to use what ever interpetation of the law fits their agenda.
It is so easy to go over 2oz of usable form by the laws interpetation. Seeds are not a usable form that i know of. Stems are pretty much useless. Even with just one small plant if it has 2oz of buds on it as soon as you chop it you are illegal by law. I am no expert i cannot look at a plant and go himm thats more than 2oz i better cut some leaves stems and buds off and throw them away. If it got seeded well then your even screwed more because they condsider seeds a usable form .You cant judge how much weight the plant will lose once its dried well at least i cant. All it takes for you to go to jail and lose your right to use MMJ is 2.01 of an Oz. They could pick up a stem and throw it in there and make you over.

Right, but most patients don't consume more than 2oz a month.
If you were to harvest one plant a month you can easily fulfill that need. Harvest what you need, destroy the rest and you would be all set.
Like I said, their intent was to provide for patients and at the same time prevent overage headed into the black market.
I guess they have to put a medical limit somewhere since it's still under prohibition to the general public.

Sorry SoCo i didnt mean that to sound like i was jumping on you. Its just frustration of not really knowing where you stand. I guess it all depends on how honest the cop is and his interpetation of the law and how he enforces. It just leave a gaping hole for us not knowing.

I didn't take it that way at all. It all makes for good discussion.

If a patient were to grow outside (green house) and have an annual harvest they're pretty much screwed. Even though 3 plants would easily produce a years supply your not allowed to keep it. I have no idea what a person is supposed to do with the overage.

I face a problem with this limit. I have a small closet I can grow 3 plants in, and my experience so far has been having only made 3 harvests, I have found that is usually only about a 2-month supply, but it is also more than the limit of 2 oz., and since it takes me another 2 months to produce another harvest from clones, and I cannot always source clones easily, I am reluctant to destroy my surplus (over the limit) as I already end up having to purchase supply from the dispensaries until I can harvest again. I don't make a lot of money, I need to medicate 4 times a day to prevent pain, and am feeling very strained to keep in compliance with the law and also provide myself with the easiest access to medicate to my necessity. I am also being fined by a hotel for medicating for my understanding of what is within the limits of the law (not publicly or in view of public, so in my hotel room was my only option) and am becoming mentally anguished from the stress of it.
